Our roots as
a company go back into the days when Series Land Rovers
were still being sold new into the United States.
Land Rover recognized our efforts to provide our customers
with only the highest quality parts by making British
Pacific one of only two authorized genuine Land Rover
parts dealers in the United States, when they stopped
selling Land Rovers in North America.
Today we're still
tied to our roots, and make every effort to source the
highest quality parts and accessories for your Series
Land Rover: Genuine, OEM or aftermarket. We have
partnered with Allmakes in England to be able to provide
you with the highest quality aftermarket Land Rover
parts at the best possible prices.
We made extensive
use of Allmakes parts when we built up a 1959 Land Rover,
then raced it in the longest, most grueling, time-speed-distance
rally in the world ... without bothering to bring spare
parts along. We used the same components that we offer
to you.
The race truck
performed flawlessly during the entire 4,300 mile
race allowing us a good nights sleep, while some
other teams were up overnight replacing major components.
Since some lubricants
you Land Rover requires are becoming harder to find
or reformulated to increase the life of catalytic
converters (and reducing the service life of older
design engines) we have started stocking the fluids
your Series Land Rover needs. |
British Pacific Great Racer # 45
We took a 1959 land Rover that had
been rolled then left setting for several years and
completely rebuilt it, using the same off the shelf
parts that we offer to our customers. Then we raced
the Land Rover in the 2005 Great Race. Somewhere
on the race between Washington D.C. and Tacoma Washington,
British Pacific set a new world record for Land
Rover, and became a small part of Land Rover history.

Series Land Rover workshop
and parts manuals on CD: 
Each CD includes original shop and parts
manuals, but the additional material is amazing. For example,
the Series IIA CD also contains the very rare '67-'71 USA
supplement, optional equipment manual (which shows all the
pieces for canvas tops and station wagon safari tops), 'approved
implements', special tools, owners manuals (including the
very rare US version), 24 volt electrics and other military
specialties, plus a lot more. The Series III also contains
the rare US supplements, and the Series 1 has all repair
and parts manuals along with owners handbooks.
Each CD is based around a
model range:
Series 1, 1948-1958 LHP19
Series II, 1958-1961 LHP20
Series IIA & IIB, 1961-1971 LHP21
Series III, 1971-1985 LHP22
These
CD's are Genuine Land Rover Classic products, and
they are copy protected. Minimum computer requirements
are Windows 2000, Pentium III or equivalent processor,
Adobe Acrobat 7 or Reader 7, and 128 mb ram.
Note to Macintosh users: Copy protection prevents pdf files from opening
under OS X.
